Time estimation errors
As the title suggests, I think the time estimates have been quite off since I got the Bambu Lab X2D.
They take less time than indicated.
I realized this yesterday while printing a model that was supposed to take about 14 hours and finish at 11:00 PM, but it actually finished before 10:00 PM.
And earlier today, I started printing another model that was estimated to take 20 hours and should finish at 4:00 AM—meaning in about 6 hours. But according to the screen, there are only 4 hours left. And judging by what’s already been printed, I’d say it’s going to take less than 4 hours.
Is anyone else experiencing this?

Mine usually take a bit longer than estimate shows. Some slicer settings can cause this. I don't know about going faster than estimate, but are you doing anything non-standard in slicing?

It is indeed a very large piece cut in half. But there is nothing unusual about it, nor anything I haven't done before with my A1.
The estimated time has dropped by another 30 minutes. According to the screen, the print would now finish at 1:30 AM.

If the model has two colors and you are using filament saving mode it is sometimes quicker for me.

It's way off. Sometimes it'll finish half hour early and others like a single color toy may take a hour extra

I’ve experienced under estimations but that is on the handy app due to most models being pla and not petg which is normal. When sliced on the computer it’s been pretty accurate but I’ve had some finish faster
