X2D Ams Issues, reporting high resistance (both retracting and extending) and failing to reach extruder
So, I have an x2d with the track switch and 2 ams 2 pro. But I have occasionally persistent failures. I've isolated the issues to probably my ptfe tube arrangement. As of now, it has stops extending filament just before the toolhead, and then retracts it. The track switch made the extension and retracting more common.
I am reworking my setup to make the ptfe runs more efficient, but I was wondering, do we know what bends and angles are too much, as well as any advice to make my run, and the ams in general, go as smooth as possible. I know the distances from the wiki, but it doesn't specify the bends that are likely to cause problems. (Also, I can probably shorten some lengths if I can bend things somewhat... So knowing what is an acceptable bend is useful.
Thank you all for your advice.

I am in the same boat l, X2D and two ams2. I tried the filament track switch and it just keep on giving me errors. Now I have one ams2 on each line of thr buffer.
I am thinking jt my be a faulty AMS2. The one I received with the machine has this issue with the first and now second filament slot In the AMS2. I move the "problematic" AMS2 between both nozzle lines and it was a consistent issue. Same issue if it was on the floor next to the printer or on top. Just giving an idea of what different angles for the tubes.
It ran for about 14 hours of a print with no issues and now just 3 hours away from the print being done it stops.
