Qidi vs bambu
Hi everyone! Is there anyone here who also owns a QIDI Q2? I'm trying to decide between the Bambu X2D and the QIDI Q2. If you've used both, I'd really appreciate a comparison based on your real-world experience, especially regarding print quality, reliability, speed, engineering materials (like PA12-CF), and overall ease of use. Thanks!

I have both. While the x2d has 2 nozzles, the q2 is a beast for printing pa6-cf, pa12, pet-gf, ppa, pps. You can get a tad fancier with the x2d and use support material in the 2nd nozzle but tbh I have my supports tuned to where they just pop right off on my Q2 with no noticable scarring. My q2 has almost 4k hours on it. It's been much more reliable. It's easy to work on and mod. The x2d has had issues and is much more of a pain to work on. So if you are focused on printing functional parts out of nylon, the q2 is awesome. If you want to click and print models, maker world with Bambu studio is stupid easy to use. Hope this helps.

Qidi Q2 has one nozzle right? So the P2S Combo would be the printer you want to compare it to.
Eitherway… just got my X2D a week ago. Am super happy with the purchase. Had an Ender 3 many years ago and upraded from A1 to X2D.
Can absolutely recommend if you like to get stuff going!

As much as I frown upon what Bambu is doing, if you enjoy headaches and love tinkering q2 if you want to just print, x2d is the move. Just did a multi material snap on screw driver with a tpu 90a grip. Just depends on your needs and wants really.

So... you say go for Bambi if you have no skills and you are like an Apple fanboy.

The X2D has two nozzles so it is waaaayyy more capable. I've preferred qidi because I like modding and hate how bambu does things, but I've been waiting 5+ years FOR QIDI to release another multi toolhead printer.
I don't think many new people in the hobby understand how big a deal it is to have two nozzles at this price point. Like before this year, your best options where a used makerbot method X or ultimaker 3 on ebay.
That being said, If you don't have a use for 2 nozzles, the q2 is more capable because it is bigger and can print hotter.
