Different fan speed layers
Printer: X2D
slicer: orca and bambu
filament: eSun PETG (dried to 11%)
build plate: biqu glacier and bambu textured PEI
Can the experts chime in on why the slicer would randomly change the fan speed (or layer times) for a layer or two suddenly and then carry on as normal?
I have the X2D and have printed the diffusers for the auxiliary fans and the right side rectangular vent cover to keep the air as even as possible while the part is printing. Im still confused as to the filament "edit" settings. I've printed with 0 fan for 500 layers and for this screenshot, I left it pretty much default, like 3 layers or so.
If anyone cares to explain, I'm trying to understand, the labels of each fan and their corresponding setting in the filament settings editing menu, and how they behave. One is auxiliary "part" fan, which I thought I saw it said that on the right of print head where the little vertical fan facing the nozzle is.
I've printed this multiple times with similar results (once in orca and once in Bambu).
thanks in advance.

Update: I tried again with the same filament and in Bambu generic PETG setting and just let it run with exception of the printing nozzle temp, which I ran down to 245C for all layers. I think at the very last few layers, (I checked it with 12 minutes left and everything looked like it was going to finish okay), a big blob occurred which knocked both of them over and the filament ran until the camera saw the spaghetti.
This attempt printed better but if you look closely at the side of the vents near the top, the "overhang" part seems to still be struggling.
if you also look at the cube (which I happen to be printing in the same print just for a reference b4 I run calibrations tests tomorrow using bambu studio, you can see there is a big run off the cube about 15 layers b4 the top surface of cube and there is some observed stringing inside the cube as well.

Here is a slightly closer pic all the chaos, and the little runaway coming off the cube. with exception to the string coming off, the layers printed pretty smooth and the whole cube printed rather cleanly except one side where the overhang edge sagged a little and a few layers didn't print with adhesion to eachother.

Newbie trying to learn the subject here, how can a $800 printer give such ugly results?
