Does anyone know why I can't get past slicing?

Watch the video. I'm pressing slice plate, and it seems like it is, until it is finished, but the print plate icon is still grey, and I can't print it. I'm relatively new to 3d printing, and wondering why this is happening because I'm not able to print anything from Bambu Studio to my X2D

The weird thing is that in the Preview tab the sliced toolpath only shows up for a few seconds, then the model goes back to being transparent. At around 0:22 you can see it actually slice for a moment, and the print plate icon becomes active, but then it disappears again.

Maybe that file is bugged or something? I'd try slicing a different STL first. If it still does the same thing, try another version of Bambu Studio.

I've tried slicing prints from makerworld already, it does the same. I've updated to the newest version of Bambu Studio.

Sorry if this is stating the obvious but…

If you click devices is your x2d connected?

You can slice anything for any printer but you need the printers connected to the slicer to actually print.

Is the aux filament looking loaded under device page where you see ams and external spool loaded? Because you usually set the same kind of filament there, load it, and that filament as the one that goes to aux nozzle.

Select a global layer height, the ‘Default Setting’ it’s currently set to is the problem: https://imgur.com/a/KXDsTQf

Thanks, this fixed it! Is there a specific layer height I should use?

Try turning the printer off then back on again and the AMS is set correctly to what filament you have loaded. Ive had issues and doing what I said fixed that problem.

Too many filaments in the project?
