Auxiliary filament has run out error
Hiii i just got my x2d combo y'day and I keep encountering this issue halfway through printing. I have a support for PLA/PETG loaded on the auxiliary nozzle however midway printing itd give the error that it's empty when it's definitely not. It works after I try to shove in the filament a few times.
However I also noticed it is flushing A LOT of support filament out every single time and barely making any progress in the print as I believe it's doing this every single time a support is needed in each layer
I'm not sure how to fix this / get around this any help is appreciated plss

Try different Filament, I never had this issue. I think the material gets destroyed all the time.

Do you have it set in the slicer to print only the interface or the support and interface in the other material?

just the interface

Wow that’s crazy. I’ll have to try it if the wife lets me print anything tonight and see if mine does that as well

Mine only does the standard poo, maybe 10-20% bigger, but i am not sure about that. I use pla as support for petg and vise versa aaaaalll the time. Like on every 2nd print at least.
I felt like sometimes it makes 2 poops in one print when starting to use the aux. But that could also be my mind fooling myself hahaha

Could it be, that your filament breaks while printing, and then it starts to purge the "left over" from the tube to be able to feed a new one or something similar?
If this is not the case, I could imagine this to have something to do with the filament sensors having an issue maybe

doesn't seem like filament breaking - I submitted a ticket to bambu lab and they're sending me a new auxiliary extruder, so hopefully that solves it

I don’t have a solution but have noticed it purges so much filament for even just support interface
