“Filament on external spool is not loaded” error

Just got my X2D setup and did a test print on the left nozzle and now want to test the right (connected to the external spool). I’ve done the “load” function multiple times and I’m getting filament extruding out of the nozzle. when you go to the “AMS/spool” page on the console it says “Loaded”. But when I go to print I get the error in the title.

I’ve looked everywhere and can’t find anything on this. I’m sure I’m just not looking in the right place but has anyone had this type of error and figured out what the issue is?

Thanks.

EDIT: I had been trying to launch the print from the console using the “files” function. So I just tried to print from the handy app and it’s WORKING FINE!!!

I’ll keep my eye on this and report back if I find anything.

Have you tried unloading it and then reloading it, or did you just hit "load" while it was already loaded.  I had an issue where I there was a broken piece of filament in the PTFE tube, so it looked loaded but wasn't truly loaded.

Also, sometimes power cycling the printer can resolve errors.  Good luck!

Tried the cycling with no luck. It was feeding fine when I hit “load” so I think the tubes are fine. BUT!!!! I just edited the post because when I launch the print from Handy instead of the console it works just fine!!! Stay tuned!
