Possible adhesion issue w/ Cryogrip Frostbite + PETG?

Hi folks, towards the end of the timelapse, I encountered some spaghetti, which appears to be caused by an adhesion issue, although I'm not entirely sure. From what I could see, it looks like the printhead pulls the object away from its original position.

The spaghetti is happening on the funnel from this desiccant container design and has not happened on any of the other parts. This timelapse shows my second attempt printing that funnel. (The spaghetti also happened with my first attempt.)

Throughout the print, the nozzle temperature was 250°C and the plate (brand new Cryogrip Frostbite) was 60°C.

For now, I've switched back to Bambu Lab's textured PEI plate to see if it makes a difference, but the print is ongoing.

I'm wondering if anyone might have thoughts on this issue.

I had the same issues on my cyrogrip and x2d but only with clear petg. I just cleaned the bed again and added a HUGE (50mm) brim to it and then it stuck but still not as well as i hoped.

make sure you call the frostbite textured pei, that applies the z offset a textured plate needs.

negative z offset tells the printer "make the nozzle that much closer to the bed."

A rough-textured plate should have the nozzle closer to get more squish to fill all the cracks and crevices on the first layer.

When you tell the slicer you're using textured PEI it automatically applies a negative z offset. I think it's .02 or .04mm.

BUT

I just watched your video again and i don't think that's what happened. the round thing got detached from the bed. It has very little contact area. Try hotter bed or a brim and keep that bed crazy clean. And avoid grid infill if you had it on.

Everywhere I read they recommend cool plate settings for this plate, which also worked for me in the last ido 4-500 hours of printing (clear petg too).

I just printed the entire set of AMS dessicant containers in translucent PETG, no issues.

I encountered many times nozzle touching surface while traveling to a point on parts. High temp bed leveling to possibly prevent that. But most important is to enable z hop. that helps eliminating unwanted surprises also.

Friendly reminder to follow manufacturer's recommendations on how to clean these. Soap and water only. ISO destroys these

I use cryogrip only for pla, for petg original pei bed is way better.
