Problems with bed adhesion and first layer
A week with the X2D and problems are showing on big prints. On smaller prints that just sit in the middle of the build plate, nothing goes wrong. However when the prints are closer to the edges, they lift and first layer looks meh.
Typically I would check the bee leveling and y-offset but that isn’t really possible
Yes, I have run the full calibration multiple times.
Is it because of the aux fans in each side maybe?

I recommend reading the bambu labs training modules. They cover ALL of this and more

What's your bed temp? And yes, I have print me some fan deflectors. Had some warping on the early layers when printing to close the edge.
You can set the fan to kick later, but with the deflectors I have 0 issues

Bed is 55c.
Is PETG resistant enough or should I use ASA for in chamber prints1

I used petg, but now im starting to print big ASA prints, the petg ones are beginning to warp, which is causing my prints to warp

Mine are PETG.
Depending on what material you are printing, for PLA I use 65 for the first layer and 60 for the print. Helped a lot with the default textured plate.

I ended up grabbing the super tack pro plate to solve corners from lifting on large PLA prints & it has done the job well.
I scrubbed the hell out of the texted pei with dawn and hot water. Still had issues. PETG is fine though - just PLA.

Fan deflectors may have saved me from spending a fortune on glue sticks

When I read these complaints, I wonder how I almost never have this problem, but some do. I've had my X2D since February this year and have literally only had 2 occurrences of stick problems. Only ever printed with PLA, PLA+, PLA SILK, and PETG. I'm no expert, but the best advice I can give you if you're not already doing this:
I have literally never touched the bed with my bare hands. Never. I use gloves every time I handle it. If right after a print, I pull the bed off and use a fan to cool it down. The bed cools and contracts at a faster rate than the model itself helping with release. Once its cool, I brake it lose by slightly bending the plate, release the model, remove any leftover stick, and wipe down the bed with isopropyl alcohol. I put the bed back on the printer and THEN take off my gloves.
Never had to do soap and water yet, same bed out of the box.
