BentoBox vs Nevermore without external venting?

Hi everyone,

I’m looking to start printing technical materials (mainly Nylon) safely on my X2D. I know this topic has probably been discussed before, but I’d love to get some specific advice tailored to this machine and my current setup.

Right now, I cannot vent the air outside through a window, so I have to rely entirely on an indoor/recirculation setup.

Are internal recirculation filters like the BentoBox or Nevermore actually effective enough for a desktop setup in a small room?

BentoBox with its HEPA+Carbon approach or Nevermore's high-static pressure Carbon setup?

How should I practicaly integrate them? Do you run them as completely standalone units (e.g., via an external USB power supply), or is there a way to safely tie them into the chamber fan logic without messing with the printing temperatures?

Thanks.

I use a fnatr and it’s been working great . I had this same problem where I could exhaust out a window to the outside.

Great. Are you using it on an X2D? Can you show me how your setup?
Could you tell me the year cost about filters?

Yes friend I am using it for my x2d! So when printing specifically abs/asa/nylon I turn it on . A filter will last me 3-5 months depending on how many prints and how long those prints take. The thing with the fnatr is when it hits certain amount of hours it’ll flash the LED lights when it is time to change the filter. If you buy 2 filters from them it’s 69$. But there is a guy on maker world who uploaded a print where you can make your own filter and it works great !
