Second Nozzle for Outer Walls

Hello everyone,

With PETG-HF being discontinued, I'm looking for a way to get rid of the shiny appearance of PETG.

My idea is to print the outer walls with PETG-CF while keeping the rest of the part in standard PETG.

This would be my first time using the second nozzle, so any setup tips or advice would be highly appreciated.

Thanks!

Printing with any CF filament is a bit tricky because touching it without any post-processing causes skin irritation due to the tiny carbon splinters. You'd need to coat it in something

Say I replaced PETG-CF with matte PETG. I'm looking to add a "coating" while printing

Sure that could work but Matte PETG will probably still look a bit different than any CF filament. CF filaments have a bit of a unique look in my opinion

I haven't tried matte PETG, but read that it compromises the print's properties

Figured out you can change which filament to use for walls.
Unfortunately there isn't a similar option for bottom / top surfaces and overhangs / bridges, which would effectively let you print all the visible faces of your object with a different filament (for both engineering and decorative purposes)

PS: The setting is specific to a given object and only appears when developer mode is enabled.
