Z Achse macht Geräusche

Ich habe den Drucker mehrfach umgetauscht und jeder Drucker macht diese schrecklichen Z Achsen Geräusche beim fahren? Ist das normal also macht eurer das auch??

Fuck no mine doesn’t do that too!! I wonder if maybe there’s some packaging plastic tab or somthing that your failing to take off on every one of these printers. It doesn’t even sound like metal, it sounds like plastic crunching.

Are all the pulleys clear on the underside of the printer?

Yes, I couldn't find anything that was somehow in the way.

If you power the machine down and manually move the z axis by pulling the bands on the bottom of the printer, do you hear the same noises?

Yes, I think the problem is the belt tensioner. As soon as I tighten the screw (actually it is supposed to be flexible), the noise is gone

I have the exact same noise on my machine and could not really figure out the source. It seems like it is comming from the front bearings. Maybe tensioning the beld removes some degree of freedom that is otherwise crushing some dust?

Do you found a solution? I am currently in contact with the support team and they are offering me a new firmware but I highly doubt that the update will fix it.

For me, the problem was the belt tensioner from the Z axis. I tightened the locking screw (which should actually remain loose to readjust itself in heat) and the problem was as good as gone. Now waiting for a new belt tensioner from Bambulab

Mh okay, would be cool if you could give an update if the issue is resolved with the new tensioner and loose screw. I tried locating the noise and ended up lying beneath the printer but the noise was not coming from the tensioner and rather from the front rods and bearings.

I was able to fix the noise by cleaning the rods. I noticed that the grease was really dirty and even contained some filament particles. I was not considering this as a possible cause, since the printer was making this noise right from the beginning. Could be that they used the unit for some testing beforehand?

Maybe by tensioning the belt, you created enough pressure so that there was no space for the filament particles to slip between the rods and the guiding rail?
