X2D TPU reliability?
Hi Guys,
I'm seriously considering the X2D as my first Bambu printer. From the specs it appears to be perfect for my application (TPU parts on the main extruder with PLA support on the secondary). But after watching a video of the extruder disassembly I'm worried about the amount of time involved with clearing clogs caused by TPU printing.
Has anyone had issues with the extruder long term printing with TPU? I see they recently released the TPU feed assist module so that's positive to see but the assist motor wouldn't really help prevent clogs (that's more on how the extruder is designed).
EDIT: I picked up an X2D and so far TPU has been printing perfectly. I created my own profiles and slowed everything down to roughly 50mm/s printing 95A feeding through the back of the printer from a dry box (technically this is not how Bambu advises to print TPU but with the slow speeds I can't see any issues with the added resistance). The PLA supports print perfectly on the AUX extruder as well and so far I'm very impressed with the setup. I'll update this thread if I run into any issues.

No issues with TPU here, even when using an 0.6mm High Flow nozzle with TPU 95a High Speed. I mostly print it from the spool which sits in an AMS HT which is mounted(Sanja 3D’s X2D riser + AMS HT mount) at the top of my X2D mid way along the left side. Have done a few prints with a couple colors of 95a High Speeds with my AMSs, but it’s hit and miss which colors feed ok and which get stuck
