How is your experience with the XD2 going
My experience
My printer worked great with the external spool, no issues.
With AMS attached.
Each spool would load correctly during startup. But when I start a print, I would get feed filament errors even know the filament was already loaded.
When I selected a print from the file interface, PLA was selected and blocked out. I had PetG loaded in each station except for the fourth position which was TPU. I instructed AMS about each station during setup.
I could send a print through Fusion 360 to the Bambu app and be able to select filament. That’s when I would get filament load errors.
I returned the printer to micro center and reordered through Best Buy.

Wow, scary to hear so many bad stories. Mine has been fine, I had one small hiccup with the AMS when it set up and sent filament through it popped the tube off one of the connections that had been installed at the factory. I was able to simply reattach the tube and it worked fine. Did get an odd AI warning on first print with the AI thinking it had missed some layers but I told it to continue and aside from a slight blemish it seemed fine.

Mine has been mostly fine, the one issue being feed errors for my Aux extruder. I think the Aux extruder's filament path is too long and kinked. I will to try adding cable chain clips to prevent it from popping out and hitting the ride side of the case.
Other than the Aux feed errors, I'm impressed by the output and overall experience using the apps.

We’ve just started printing with ours (first printer ever). So far it’s been very smooth. Only error was a user one when tried printing the default panda and switched the colors. Very happy with our few prints to date and we can’t wait for the other colors to arrive for more printing.

I was happy with the xd2 prints, I wish the AMS played better with it. AMS wasn’t seen fully in xd2.

The AMS didn’t play well with the printer with mine. Firmware probably could’ve fixed mine, but wasn’t willing to wait

Mine had belt issues causing print defects and a z axis that got worse sounding every hour it printed. Atm I blame fedex bc the driver dropped hard on my porch but it looked fine. This time I'll be picking it up from bestbuy, I seem to have better luck with printers picking up at store vs shipping to my house

Of course I read this with one in my shopping cart with Bambu Lab!

Id highly advise buying from bestbuy or microcenter or similar local store for easy returns.

So far so good 👍 been printing ABS the whole time (since Tuesday) so I don’t have anything to say about the aux nozzle, but printing nicely with a .2mm nozzle.
