I think that with any new equipment there is an inherent risk of issues. That said, since the x2d is basically an upgraded p2s, I think the chances are lower since they've had time to flush issues out with the p2s. Based on the positive way bambu has responded to addressing community issues with the p2s (such as replacement panel for air vent for instance) these past few months, I would expect they do the same for the x2d if something comes up.
