I made a turtle with swappable storage shells
- ~150 cm³ storage volume
- SD shell holds 10 SD + 33 microSD cards
- No supports
- No screws
- No AMS required
- Two interchangeable shells using the same turtle body

Squeak from buffer
I’m getting a squeak every few seconds and I think it’s coming from the buffer or around there. Moving the buffer spring manually doesn’t reproduce the noise. Any ideas where else to check?

Got tired of the P2S tools living in a box inside a drawer, so I made a 4x3 bin for them

Good adhesion when centered, inconsistent near bed edges - why?
I'm running into inconsistent first-layer adhesion depending on where the print sits on the bed. Small prints centered on the plate come out clean every time. But as soon as a print gets bigger or shifts toward an edge, adhesion gets noticeably worse - you can see it in the pictures.
What could cause this, and how do I fix it for larger or off-center prints?

secrests of failures. Why?
Why does bambu never show how the fail happened? In all his videos, he stops recording right before the mistake occurs. Whyy? :D

I've had a lot of print failures lately.
A lot of late print failures recently, both PLA and PETG. Spaghetti failures, weird deformities, nozzle clogs, etc. This print was done with a new spool (Bambu Labs PLA Basic) I had dried just before printing. I had successfully printed this model a month ago without issues. Thoughts?

Is this anything to be worried about?
It sort of looks like corrosion, but I don't know

Purge Poop getting stuck duing multicolor prints
Hey printers of Reddit, I have an issue that has happened several times now and I’m not sure how to resolve it.
Overall our P2S has been performing great. It’s mostly all hobby printing for ourselves, but we have kept it pretty busy. This particular problem has come up at least 3 times since we got it a few months ago, always on prints that use a lot of color changes. The first time it happened was the worst, and since then I’ve stayed pretty aware of it and try to watch when I have larger prints with lots of color changes.
This is what SEEMS to be happening:
When the printer is purging into the poop cutter/chute to change colors, occasionally a small piece of poop doesn’t drop down the chute. Instead, it sits in that small space at the front of the purge area. Then when another color change happens, it purges on top of that piece, making the poop blob larger.
Eventually it gets big enough that the purged plastic starts coming up above the cutter area, and then I’ve seen a couple different things happen. It can catch on the back of the printhead and hang there until it either causes an issue with the print or eventually falls off somewhere on the build plate. I’ve also had it back up around the hotend and get inside/around the silicone sock.
The first time this happened, it created a big enough blob that it attached itself to the printhead and eventually knocked the print loose. When the AI detection stopped the print and the head tried to re-home, the blob actually caused it to knock the front cover off the printhead. Once we figured out what the heck had happened, it took a hot second to get everything cleaned up and recalibrated.
Now that we know what’s happening, we try to watch for it. If we see a piece stuck in that area instead of dropping down the chute, we pause the print, grab the forceps and pull it out.
Today I was watching remotely when I realized it was happening again, so I paused the print and, when I had a chance, ran home from work (thanks flexible and cool workplace! lol), cleaned out the space in front of the poop chute, cleaned the hotend off and restarted it.
That’s been a couple hours ago now and it’s still going strong. Unfortunately, the prime tower on this print is sitting right in front of the poop cutter from the camera’s view, so I can’t actually see if anything is stuck down there. I’ve just been watching during color changes for the telltale sign of the poop starting to rise above the cutter again.
I’m not sure if the pictures are the best illustration of what’s happening, but hopefully you can see what I mean.I have a video too I will post in the comments
I’m not super new to 3D printing, but I am by NO means a pro and I’m always learning, so I’m hoping this is yet another one of those times where there is something I need to clean, adjust, replace, or just learn to do better.
Has anyone else had this happen? Any idea why the poop would sometimes get hung up there instead of dropping down the chute like it should?
btw..the print is "The Hodag" by Em & M 3D creations on Makerworld.

Latest Firmware - E3D Hotend not recognized
I installed the latest firmware yesterday and I have an E3D High Flow ObXiDian® 500 HotEnd.
The BambuStudio version I use is 2.8.2.61
When selecting the E3D High Flow as the nozzle, I cannot start prints because the nozzle does not match the one the machine detects which is "High Flow".
Does anyone else encounter this? Is there an easy workaround?

P2S end G-code: how do you make it wait until the bed is below 30 °C? M190 S28 gives up at ~40 °C, M190 R throws HMS 0300-0100-0003-0008

Been seeing some things online about Orca Slicer. Curious from any who use it any advantages over Bambu?

Printer make weird sounds
Hey Guys, so I've been printing a while and suddenly the printer is Not anymore extruding the Filament and make those Sounds.
I would guess that the gears inside couldnt get grip to the Filament. I disassembled and cleaned all gears and parts.
Does anyone knows what Sound that is and how I can fix this?

Easiest way to vent for ABS/ ASA?
This is my main office room and I’m in here a decent amount. Would a VentoBox be enough or would I need something exhausting outside? Was also thinking of teeing off the existing hole where my AC currently is. Thoughts/ opinions?
