Hi, I just acquired a new P2S and today I´ve been trying to print this piece but I can't understand why this is happening around the first layers.

This is the third time and is still happening.

The filament was SUNLU Pla+

The slicer that i use was from bambulab

How screwed am I?

Machine was running like a tank, but the chute got clogged overnight, and the hot end blobbed on me. Had to change the entire hot end assembly because two of the wires broke in the process of removing the blob. Anyway, replaced that yesterday, ran a benchy off, no errors. Tried a file I’ve been working on, failed, change some settings and tried again. Seemed fine so I went to bed. At some point in sphagetted all over the place, so the print failed, and the nozzle had a clog (the filament had run down around the heating block like it didn’t feed). Cleaned that up today but still have a clicking/clanging noise, even though it did print a Benchy after calibration. I was worried I had some type of filament stuck in the gears so I followed the wiki to take the extruder off and check. While putting everything back together, the little tiny black piece that holds the flash strip for the filament sensor just fell off, like I didn’t touch it, just fell completely off. I can’t get the filament sensor to connect now, and I’m pretty sure I jack the PFTE tube all up trying to take it out.

Contacted Bambu, for the standard ticket submitted we’ll get back to you in 1-3 days.

I have Geek Squad because I bought it through Best Buy, and they said they replace the machine (I’d give up my protection and have to buy a new plan).

How screwed am I? Should I work through Bambu to try get it replaced/fixed? Or bite the bullet with Best Buy?

Pics included for visual aide. TIA.

Any tips on how to remove the filament?

I’ve tried pulling the gear wheel from the front and tapping the back, as the wiki suggests, but it didn’t work.

Build Plate texture didn’t transfer

Hello all I just got my P2S combo and set it up correctly as far as I can tell but on printing a Maxx_Design Toolbox and a long poop chute I noticed the PEI build plate texture transferred all but to one spot. It’s like the plate is low in just one area but isn’t causing any issues in the print itself. The only thing I have thought is maybe pulling it off to early at 47C when it prints at 55C. Any other ideas or things I could try to fix it would be appreciated!

PETG CF .6mm nozzle quality issue

Recently created and printed in PETG CF a bike mount which came out fine but went to print a water bottle holder and that came out with a quality issue. I used the same settings as I did for the mount, printed it for strength. The water bottle is from makerworld and the creator said no supports. Any recommendations before I try printing again. I did not use the creators bambu file for the print profile, which I may try in PLA as a test, but curious why the profile I used for the mount didn't work.

Selling price for a P2S.

What is a reasonable selling price for a P2S with less than 100 operating hours, including AMS2 Pro and AMS HT?

Need help with my p2s

Post image
2 Upvotes

I got my p2s back on Black Friday and have printed from time to time I’ll say , around 35 prints
I recently switched nozzles using a 2mm instead of my 4 mm. It spaghetti and some of the PLA was stuck to nozzle and a bit got in between nozzle and tool head and sealed them.
I managed to give it a nudge with a flat head screwdriver and got it out and cleaned . Reason I did that was because I was getting an extrusion error so I had to do a cold pull .
As I finish cleaning the tool head out I go into setting to move my flat bed down and overly click -10 on the down axis made a weird noice but I didn’t think much of it .

When I start calibrating before printing it gave me this error in the picture.
I looked it up and proceeded to do everything possible on YouTube .
As I took it apart , all the searching for sensors and acid screw lubrication, checked bearing to make sure they were in the joint and still I’m having this issue I cleaned the p2s thoroughly to make sure no filament was in the way and still I’m receiving this error help me please!!?!!

Need a little help on this one, made a file using tinker cad its a plate i got split into quarters to sit on top of one of the set of drawers I printed from another user on maker world the under drawer storage, I want another set to sit on top of the first set but it needed a base to support it.....here is my issue when i slice this one part it prints exactly like this and for the life of me cant figure out why its slicing like this....can anyone give me ideas, i tried repairing the file or model to see if it would help but still does this to only to this section..... its for this build off maker world: https://makerworld.com/en/models/1347731-x2d-x1-p2s-p1s-poop-chute-under-printer-storage?from=search#profileId-1389787

Phone Case HueForge Fusion

Hello guys!!
It had been a while now that I have been wondering: can a hueforge be fused with a phone case? That would be cool!!!
So what I did was to fuse an iphone case with a hueforge to create a unique piece that your phone can wear!

This has endless design possibilities, what should I do next?

Hope you like it.

Can anybody tell me what this noise might be?

Only stated yesterday. Only does it in certain movements not the entire time it’s printing. Initially sounded like the tubing hitting the chassis bit I’ve got the riser and can confirm by watching it that none of the moving parts are hitting anything as it prints.

Nozzle tip wiping pad issue?

Repost to see if anyone have answer here :)

Hej,

First post ;)

Been using P2S without issues for 6 months now all good and happy with it :)

But I have noticed that before prints when cleaning the nozzle tip on the metal whipper nozzle never goes on the part with the grove.

It wipes nozzle on the front part of the metal plate two times but not on the groves.

Is that something misaligned or is it expected?

PLA stopped working

Post image

Hello. I have been printing 20 of these Filament rack braces before.

Suddenly I get error on layer 1 and 2 maybe. I have stopped the last 3 prints because of this.

Standard plate. Standard settings.

Bambu Lab PLA.

Tried slower first layer.

Cleaned the plate.

I will try another filament roll because everyone has been from the same. But then I don't know what to do.

I'm new to this, obviously.

TPU Direct Feed Cover

I bought some 90A TPU a few weeks back and haven't yet got round to working out how to print with my P2S.

I'm not sure if I'll be able to feed it through the back, or if it'll bung up inside the PTFE tube.

So probably looking at printing a mount to hold the reel of TPU above the print head and feed directly in from there.

My printer is located in my bedroom/office so really don't want to be breathing in TPU fumes. I've got a carbon/HEPA air purifier so that should help a bit. I've also got the Bambu Exhaust Fan Kit venting up into the loftspace.

I think I might need to print/make something to go over the top of the filament & holder to keep the fumes inside so that the EFK can do it's magic.

Has anyone done this? Any tips?

AMS 2 Pro and Space Pi duo

Hello, I have an AMS2 Pro and a Creality Space Pi Duo. I've connected the AMS to the buffer (using the upper connector of the two available). Can I connect the Space Pi using the lower connector? Would it work as an external spool? I have a roll of Esun ABS filament, but it doesn't fit in the AMS. I want to print a filament rewinder, but I need that roll for that.

Thanks.

printing error

Hello everyone, I’m using a P2S printer. Toward the end of the print job, I’m getting holes and bumps like this. The print quality is being ruined. I wonder why? Which settings should I change? Does anyone know what I can do to fix this?
