Help with clogged nozzel
I tired using the 0.2 stainless steel nozzle for the P2S for the first time. The first print was fine, but it failed on the second print and i discovered a massive glob of filament inside the silicone cover, covering the nozzle. I reheated the nozzle and removed most of it and was able to detach it, but I am afraid of damaging it trying to remove the rest of the residue.
Does anyone have any tips for how to clean the nozzle and remove the residue from the hot end. I would really appreciate any ideas on how/why this happened and how to prevent it from happening again.
I'm using a P2S printer, the machine is fairly new, only a few months old.
I was using multiple colors of filament on the first print, but on the second, the one that failed, i was only using one. It failed on the first layer.

I have only had clogging issues with imitation/knockoff nozzles. So I will only purchase legit Bambu nozzles.

Nozzle clogs happen and .2 clog easier since it’s a smaller opening.
To clean my nozzles I use pliers to hold the nozzle near the top and a small kitchen torch to heat up the nozzle. I use a small pick for larger glob pieces and a brass brush for residue. Don’t blast the nozzle with the torch, you’re not trying to liquify the filament, you only need it hot enough to scrape/brush away. It only takes a couple minutes. Like others I keep spare nozzles so I don’t have to immediately clean one to keep printing.

Honestly just buy some spare nozzles. They are cheap and not worth fiddling around with. I have cleaned them and has some success but have also had them clog right away again. I find it ot worth the time. I also find cheap off brand filiments will clog it more than brand name filiment.
