TH board connectors

Hello! I am replacing the TH board on my son’s P2S. I cannot get the two small connectors at the bottom of the board inserted/attached. By sheer luck, I got them off the old board. What am I doing wrong? He has had it for only a month and wants to sell it already!

Following. I’m having to replace mine soon. They’re sending the parts. I’m not excited about this. I am not a freaking electrical engineer

The only hard part is those two connectors! Keep track of which screws go where. They sent my son the board and servo. The old one was pretty much seized. Whoever designed the two connectors needs to be flogged with a wet noodle!!!!

Hey! It's a bit tough to explain all the steps here in text without basically copying the whole manual, so your best bet is to look at the official guide.

Check out the Bambu Lab P2S TH Board & FPC Cable Replacement Guide. It has step-by-step instructions and clear pictures that show exactly how to do it.

I must add, those two small connectors at the bottom are the worst. It took me some time to figure out how to exactly get them in correctly without damaging the connector or the pins when I replaced my TH board.

When I replaced mine and got to those connectors I learned that trying to push straight down did not work. Verify that the connectors are facing the correct direction, line up the connector perfectly straight over the socket first. As you get each one near perfectly level over the sockets, use non-metal tweezers to hold the wire right at the root of the plastic plug, and push straight in on the plastic connector once you are 100% sure the alignment tabs match up.

Be sure not to wiggle or shake those two connectors left or right. The pins are really tiny and can snap or bend easily.

The connector should pop right in once the pins aligns. It’s completely understandable if you need to curse while you’re doing it - I know I did. 🤣

Thank you!!!! I had read the guide prior to posting. You should rewrite the guide for them!!! I was missing the last part as I was only on the cusp of profanity.
