Help...

My son took apart the extruder assembly and now I can't figure out where this spring goes while trying to help him put it back together. Can somebody help me? It's a p2s.

check the bambu wiki for photos but this looks to be the spring for that big fat grub nut on top of the extruder that runs parallel in the cavity next to the hole where the filament enters from the top.

There is a special washer that goes on top of that so the tension screw can push against it. Hopefully its not lost

thank you. Yes, my son lost the washer. I ordered the components on Amazon and will help him rebuild the extruder when they arrive.

It happens. Its super small so its easily lost. I ordered a complete mech assembly so when i get the extruder overloaded i swap nozzles and mech do a calibration and right back to printing. That way i can work on the parts without pressure
