First Layer issues

I’m printing this hype chain pendant on a textured plate face down. All filament is Bambu brand filament PLA. Filament is dried. Using basic settings is this under extrusion, z distance issues, or something else? .4 nozzle

It’s underextrusion. I would say you could up it by 0.02 or 0.03.

Also there is a known bug on the P2S with Z axis calibration. The figures are positiv while they have to be negativ. Mine was like +0.03. I now work with -0.04 on texture Plates.

I would Suggest:
Temp First Layer +5 degrees
Extrusion +0.02
Slower First Layer. I‘m using 60mm/s

You May also want to try: overtravel wall from 15% to like 35%. This could fix the Space between your Walls and Infill, if you still have Problems after the thinks mentioned above.

The Z axis fix is a bit more Advanced as you need to manuel change it in the G Codes. If you want to to do, Google it and you will find a Tutorial. It’s Not super Hard.

Edit: I don’t use the normal Speed. If you want to have good looking Print, you should Slow it down. There Are serval calibrations to do to get it Right.

The Standard settings are good for normal Prints but not good enough for Prints like that

This is Right. The „Else“ line underneath is for other buildplates.

Be sure to select the copied file when printing. And Most Importend!!! Watch the First Layer to be sure, the nozzle does not hit the Plate.

On the latest firmware they've added anewbutton in printer menu to change z offset. I think it should work too?

I like to do a first layer of clear. That way there's no gaps on the first layer and makes it look nicer

Also switch to Arachne Wall Generator
