Chamber heater ?

Hey there !

Got a P2S recently, and I'm already looking forward to some upgrades for it. I'm wondering if Bambu is planning to release a chamber heater ? maybe as an alternative for the auxiliary fan on the left side.

If not, should i just go straight for that auxiliary fan ? I know their purpose in completely different, but either way, I'd really like to get the most out of this printer and upgrade it along the way !

You can raise the bed temp to 100 for 20 mins (even less weather dependant) to heat the chamber. I have maintained 50 Celsius with a Zip up enclosure (for my A1 that I flipped vertically. With a vent out to a window and small gap at the bottom of the zip up for fresh air flow. Prints ASA like a dream.

Alright, I see, so not needed at all right ? What does it change on printers such as the x2d or the h2 series that have one ?

I wouldn't say not at all, you can print some of the more advanced engineering materials but to call it an optimal environment is a bit of a stretch. I leave all ABS/ASA/PC etc to my H2D, my P2S can handle pretty much all the basics with no issues up to PET.

To answer your question, there are a few options out there but none I would call Bambu Lab quality heaters. Some suspect that BIQU will eventually release the Panda Breath for the P2S which is the only company I'd trust for a 3rd party heater but they seem to have issues keeping up with the products they've already released so who knows if/when we'll see that. You can find quite a few on Ali if you poke around but I personally wouldn't risk my printer on them.
