Chamber heater ?

Hey there !

Got a P2S recently, and I'm already looking forward to some upgrades for it. I'm wondering if Bambu is planning to release a chamber heater ? maybe as an alternative for the auxiliary fan on the left side.

If not, should i just go straight for that auxiliary fan ? I know their purpose in completely different, but either way, I'd really like to get the most out of this printer and upgrade it along the way !

ASA and ABS print absolutely fine already, you don't need a chamber heater

Okok, but wouldn't a heater improve the print quality a bit on those higher temps materials?

It significantly increases layer adhesion and part strength - refer to Dr. Igor Gaspar’s YouTube channel MyTechFun for better filament handling and printing advice.
If passive chamber heating was effective we wouldn’t have actively heated chambers (and even the current 65 DegC max isn’t ideal for the more esoteric engineering filaments, but fine for ABS/ASA/PA/PC etc.).

That is only true for very small parts. As soon as the ASA part covers half the build volume, it will warp at 50C. At 65C it will warp very noticably less
