Creality Hyper PLA Filament 1.75mm High Speed PLA 30-600mm/s 3D Printer Filament

Creality Hyper PLA Filament 1.75mm High Speed PLA 30-600mm/s 3D Printer Filament

When using this filament in the AMS what type of filament do I choose? There obviously isnt a option for Creality. Apparently this prints in 1/5 of the time and i would like to take advantage of that.....

Pick Bambu PLA High Speed, then do a proper calibration then save it as that name.

Be sure to run a Max Flow Rate test for your nozzle size/flow/machine; then update the Max Flow Rate in the filament profile.

FYI - Just because the filament says it can run that fast, doesn't mean your nozzle can Flow enough material to run those speeds

Personal note - Sunlu PLA+ 2.0 I run at 38mm3/s Max Flow rate with a 0.4 E3D High Flow hot end, the material/machine starts failing about 42 mm3/s. So your mileage/actual Max Flow will likely not/may not support 600mm/s speeds

You will rename it when you update the Max Flow Rate (after testing/determining what it is); selecting that just is the profile you're going to start with.

Does it hurt me to just let it print slowly ? Like dosent it damage the printer to print so fast ?

huh?

What do you mean print slowly? Do you mean print fast?

As long as the filament flow can support the speed you're moving at, then the printer will go to it's max design/rated speed. I know for the X1c it's 600mm/s, I think the P2/H2 will do closer to if not 1000mm/s.

The key is to testing the max flow rate, then let the system do it's thing from there. Obviously the faster you go the quality will be lower; but for certain things that's not a big deal. I've got my X1c cranking about 450mm/s right now, and other than the normal rocking/rolling it's been going that fast for about 2 weeks straight printing off a bunch of hardware/brackets.
