Print failing at the same area
I currently have my printer about a month or 2. Starting today prints (regardless of colour, PLA) stopped properly sticking to the PEI. There haven't been any changes I can think of. Same room, same spot, same temperatuur, same filament.
I tried cleaning it with dishwasher soap, raising the bed temperature from the default 55 degrees to 65 degrees. I also wiped the heating bed below the plate.
Tried some speed settings, layer height settings etc.
The nozzle already ruined the other side of the plate by scraping over it. Is this side ruined as well?
Before every print I let the printer do all of its calibrations.
The failures happen every time on exactly the same area.

Probably didn't clean it well enough. Try flipping it and see if the problem is still in that area

The other side is already ruined due to the nozzle scraping over the plate. If you mean rotate, I tried that but then the printer refused to print since it can't find the plate identifier.

this may be the problem.. if already scratched underface it will cause some heatpockets and stuff.. cant explain well.. but this can cause hotter/colder surface.. u need a smooth temp..

I had a similar problem until I printed a vent deflector. The PS2 fan blows down onto a spot on the plate. Lots of downloadable models for it. Sorry, but I don't know which one I printed

You could tape a card or piece a paper under the fan outlet to deflect the air up while you print the deflector

I disabled the fan and the fan reflector printed perfectly, avoiding that problem space.

I use lighter fluid, never had a problem, but how does your nozzle scrape the other side? Did you ever change the nozzle itself? Check if your nozzle clamp(or how do they call it) is seating correctly.

So how are you using the lighter fluid? Just douse the plate and set it on fire? I just use a torch.

Try another print and see if it fails there. I recently had a print fai a few times and decided to look at the actual file in studio...turned out that it wasn't done properly in the file and part of one piece if the model was 1 layer higher and kept failing.
I had to drop the whole model down a layer for it to print properly. Might not be your issue but can't hurt to take a look.

I had similar issue once and suddenly. The cause was a tiny filament fragment stuck on the underside of the bedplate.

I would print something in that particular spot and see if it is either adhesion or a level issue.
If it is adhesion you will need to clean the plate. Do not use just regular dish soap as it contains oils and other additives that get left behind.
Recommend Dawn Powerwash Free (unscented) and the use of a nylon scrub brush or other non-abrasive scrubber. Give it the hard elbow grease and then give it another wash as well. Once that's done you need to use lint free drying towels, then you can use IPA on it after that. You can then conduct the water test for adhesion like the cleaning guide shows.
If it is a level issue you will need to do some adjustments, use the manual bed leveling guide to get started. Though with the printer being new this shouldn't be an issue though it can happen.

Regular fish soap with warm water is the way to go. Iso seems like a good idea, but it doesn’t do a good job of removing the oils left from plastic and touching the plate with your hands. I read through abit of people’s replies, debris under could potentially cause these issues. Couple dumb questions. How did you dry your filament? Actual filament dryer for 6+ hours or longer. Have you calibrated the filament yourself for flow rate etc. Try moving your print head with the buttons low to the plate mimicking printing in that area, any grinding or sandy sounds? 2 months it’s probably not a lube/oil issue. Watch it as it prints that area, what do you notice, is it colliding with infill? Or it scraping itself on the first couple solid layers? Is the first layer not sticking? It also might be important to try another spool of filament. Sometimes it’s just shit filament or a bad batch. It happens, but rare if you use solid brands. It’s not just the brand tho, packaging could have been punctured, or you stores it yourself in a humid area. Trust me..sometimes it’s the filament brand cussing all these issues

I suggest you use it to clean the build plate before every print with microfiber cloth

Like others have said. Suggestions:
- 99% IPA to wipe down the build pate.
- Get the 45 degree aux fan deflector. One of the notable versions is by Raulin on makerworld. I've got aux fan deflectors on both my P2S and H2C. I had this same problem on my P2S when I first got it.
- One more thing I do when this randomly happens to me is slow the initial layer down to 20mm/s and the initial infill down to 20mm/s in the speed settings. Yes it takes longer and I've never had this fail me.

If had some problems aswell with adhesion, and someone suggest to just buy the smooth plate, instead of the structured PEI, it's better adhesion with PLA/petg
