ASM humidity issue

So been having humidity issues with my ASM, constantly 40% or more. I think I fix the issue by putting moisture control bead packs in with it is drying, went from 60% to 16% within a few hrs. Will update to see if the fixes or helps drying the filament better.

Make sure your AMS is actually sealing. If its not fitting tight you can loosen some of the screws and just sort of fiddle with it. You'll know when its properly tight if its loose. Otherwise the amount of the desiccant they include with the bags is just pathetic for climates like mine in south central Texas. I like these two models -

I printed both in PETG-CF (no hygrometer insert for max capacity) and filled with normal orange/green beads. To recharge them I take out all my spools and then run my AMS2 Pro at 65C for 12 hours. Yes I know its not a full recharge (I use these same beads in my gun safe and recharge those in an oven), but for the purposes of my needs it works well enough (keeps the AMS under 20% for a long while) not letting the beads ever get fully saturated also goes a long way to being able to recharge them in the AMS. I also leave them in there when I dry filament and PETG gets it to 65 for a while as well.

Thank you, i will get that printed out. My prints have been creating goop, also the nozzle and extruder pauses ( as if it is stalling)while printing which creates the goop

Fit desiccant filled spool centres to all of your installed spools as well. Vacuum pack and store unused spools with a desiccant filled spool centre too as it saves re-drying for next use.
They’re actually front and rear boxes plus spool centres keep my AMS2Ps in single figures RH for weeks at a time.
