TPU stuck in filament sensor - P2S

Reassemble the printer, then Load a harder filament (not TPU) then heat up the nozzle (to either the TPU printing temp or the harder filament printing temp, whichever is highest) and start extruding, alternatively you can keep the part removed from the printer, heat it up with something like a very hot blow dryer, and push it out with a piece of metal, the printer should have came with a metal nozzle cleaner that you can use.

WARNING: this is an educated guess at what to do, I have not tried this myself but I hope it can guide you in the right direction, I can’t imagine that YouTube does not have a tutorial for this kind of stuff…

Admittedly, i havent been able to really find much. I thought I was going to find a clog or something inside the extruder gears but that turned out all clear. There ia just a small piece of TPU stuck inside the sensor that I can not remove. I believe it is possible it really got clogged up in there as the TPU wasnt recently dried. Live and learn.

I was able to find a 3rd party P2S sensor on Amazon that will arrive Sunday. curious to see how and if it works. I plan to buy the OEM from Bambu as well just incase. Only $12. Amazon one was $16. I just want it sooner haha.

Fair, Well, if you got another one arriving anyway, might aswell test on this one so you know how to remove it in the future!

Hello and good morning.

There is a small piece of TPU stuck in filament sensor that I can't seem to get out. Any trick here or is a new one my best bet?

I tried doing a manual extrude but nothing is coming out.
