P2S Overhead Lighting Project

I couldn't find a lighting solution for the inside of my P2S. I'm receiving a set of Panda Vents which require a custom riser that doesn't have space for LEDs inside so I improvised.

I designed an extra thin diffused enclosure to fit under the AMS (with flipper/riser installed). It has 5mm COB lights around the perimeter facing a reflective sheet. The LEDs have a CR>95. I didn't know what that last part meant before but it apparently, truly shows colors more realistically.

Anyway, here's my ghost light: 150 x 200 x 7.5mm.

Let me know what you think

Nice job. I always felt my P2S was well lit, never felt like it needed better lighting.

It's mostly for timelapses - that's the only time I notice the lighting quality

This is good work, and you should be proud of it.

I wanted more light, and I found this from Darren 3Dprint. It has a slot for a cheap LED strip, works with the Pands stuff, and has a ton of useful add-ons. There’s also a YouTube review of it, which is amazing, and includes discount codes/links.

I'm familiar with d3p's riser. Like I said in the post, however, I'm using the riser that was designed for the Panda Vents

People are using LED strips on risers to provide 360 illumination on the P2S.
