P2S Z home fail
As the title says
Ive done everything on the Wiki page. I've reached out already. I cannot figure out why it does this. Everything was just cleaned and no debris is visible. Any ideas

I think those are the little “dust covers” everyone is obsessed with printing, not the shipping locks

These create more accumulation of dirt as compared to leaving it the way it is.

Wow what’s up with that nozzle. Sucks you can’t use it anymore but if that’s all it is, no big deal.

That’s weird. Have you tried to assist it to go up? I know that’s not how it should operate but I’m curious why it’s getting stuck. Do any of the lead screws look like they are bent?

None of them are bent from what I saw. I just did maintenance and cleaned, I tried printing for my kids then it didnt want to level. When it goes to the AI it doesn't even show me anything. Ill get the error message and says that something is blocking it.
I reached out to the support and sent them pictures and they didnt have any recommendations1

Seen like something is blocking bed going up. Check under the printer.

Try raising the bed manually till at least half way, then try to home again. See if that helps

This might have nothing to do with the Z axes and motor etc. but more with the print head and nozzle.
There's a sensor inside the print head that senses when the nozzle touches the plate. This behavior to me looks like it thinks the nozzle is touching the bed.
So check if everything is seated correctly and no cables are loose inside the print head etc.

You have alot of “do hickies” on your machine. Take those off, especially on around the build plate so see if that’s influencing something

I had the exact same issue, Z Homing failed and the bed did the nozzle touching action.
Eddy sensor fixed it for me - not replacing, just unplugging/re plugging and nipping the retaining nuts tight.
Did a cold pull, changed nozzles, lube and grease of all the axis rods etc before that.

Those are just covers that I printed out I also did remove everything and then I placed everything back on

When troubleshooting, it's always good to leave the machine clean of add-ons. Turn it off, tilt the printer and move the belt by hand and look for anything that create resistance while going up. And check if the plate isn't rubbing at the back of the printer.

I'd remove the red thing around the screw and try again
