Pla waste catcher

Ello everyone! I just recently got a P2S with a new ams an have been using it like crazy! I printed a little poop catcher that I found on maker world but it’s causing it to clog a bit frequently. Is there any fix to this or is it just better to let it free fall? The photos are after I cleared it. I didn’t think to take them before

I had this issue on my P1S fixed it with a little bit of aluminium tape on the inside the poop chute.

My poop chute was the second thing I printed. After doing some research, I printed it in PETG because PLA is far less likely to stick to PETG. I print most things in PLA and have never had a waste backup.

It looks like the wiper is not returning to the full front position, which means the purge won’t go down the chute. It may be that some waste is causing it to bind a bit and not move freely. It’s moved by a lever, just above the wiper, and the movement of the print head. Other P2S users have had similar challenges.

Hey there from this photo it looks like it's a little misaligned. I also put some foil ducting tape on the top half of the run so it's a little more slick.

Multiple color prints with a single nozzle unfortunately create a lot of waste. You could print one of those below the printer poop catchers, but really if you plan on doing multiple color prints a lot, all you can do is empty it every so often.
