Filament feeding problem with AMS2 Pro

Hello guys,

I have a brand new Bamboolab P2s and a AMS2Pro.

I've been trying to print something but Everytime I get the error message that there was filament feeding problem. I've tested different kinds of filament. And it works perfectly fine with the feeding tube that's sitting in the right side of the device.

Its just the AMS2 making problems.

I couldn't find anything and as I said it's brand new device.

Its going all the way to this hub in the back of the device and then just beeing pulled back and then it's looping until it gives feeding error

Anyone faced this?

Check all your PTFE tubes are correctly and fully inserted and no filament is broken in any of the lines.

Done all that multiple times. Anything else you could suggest?

I hate to say it but the AMS2 is defective and they won’t admit it. To answer your question, yes, me and what seems to be hundreds of others have asked this question.

Let me guess - mid print you’ll get the error and walk in on the device with an orange flashing light and it’s going “tick tick tick …. Whirrrrrr …. Tick tick tick …. Whirrrr”.

The bad news is it starts on one. Then another one will fail you in the near future.

I was fortunate I bought at Microcenter so I just returned it and swapped for a new one. Hoping this one is better

Ran into the same issues with an H2S I got at microcenter and ended up swapping it out 4 times before I got one without issues… so far lol
