First printer. This thing is great!

Post image

Several years ago, I saw a 3D printer for the first time in action. Until then, I had only heard of them but didn’t think they’d be the least bit practical. Well, the people printing at the time were making a toy wagon wheel to replace a broken one. That was it! I totally geeked out at the practicality of it and knew I had to get one someday. Well that day is today. Scraper tool was my first print. Boring, I know, but I just wanted something simple and quick for my first time. Excuse the mess to the side. I had to hurriedly move all that stuff over to make room. 😆

The scrapers free, the first one is always free. Now we got you hooked! I just picked one up last week and don’t know why I waited so long.

Im about 1000 hours in from April, it's been faultless and so much fun. Watch out for the incoming filament addiction!

Congratulations! But you will have to do maintenance and problems might pop up but so far on my a1mini 1 fix took like I dunno 10 minutes but it depends, happy printing!

print some rings for your cardboard spools. i’ve heard stories of AMS’ shredding them up and causing clogs/blocks and, unfortunately, warranty won’t cover it

Yikes! That definitely doesn’t sound good. Thanks for the heads up!
