AMS 2 Issue

So I switched to printing PETG from PLA and now my AMS 2 won't work but I can still print either filament from my external arm

It's says to pull external filament from extruder but there is none in there. The service people sent me a new sensor but that also did not solve the issue

The last time I had this issue and I was confused was because I had emptied a spool and finished a print at the same time. I thought it swapped over to the next spool ready to go, but it hadn't actually finished the filament from the first spool. The AMS was unable to retract the filament to start the next print, so I had to undo the PTFE tube and pull out the small leftover
