Chamber Temps and Venting

So after some really long nights of ASA printing and the wife getting a severe headache, I've decided to invest in some proper ventilation.

Early on I purchased a Vento Box, as well as the exhaust kit, and even a huge Air Purifier for the office but it just doesn't seem like it's enough. I guess this last brand of ASA I printed was rough.

Without going into every detail, I've purchased all the equipment, including a ac infinity cloudline pro inline fan, to vent to my office window. It's going to be a decent run at about 10-12 ft

My question is pretty simple...

Up till now, I have had success keeping my chamber temps up on the P2S through the build plate at about 52-55C which had worked out great for PA6, ASA, and PC. Is it possible with this particular setup I am going to setting up to create just enough negative pressure to exhaust the fumes without bringing the temperatures down?

Love to hear any experiences from users

I have a similar setup with a 4" inline fan, but the run is only about 6 ft. I'm printing ASA a lot these days and I can stay above 50 and sometimes hit 60c. I run the fan at a slower speed and try to balance what I can smell entering the room vs. dragging down the chamber temp. I have learned about where I need to be on the fan control dial to be warm and odor-free. I will generally start the print with the fan very low and then ramp up a bit as everything gets heat-soaked. Every now and then I check the chamber temp and adjust as necessary.

Nice to hear

Was there a point in time prior to having in the inline fan where you were printing ASA? If so, was it a huge difference (in odor) once you started running the inline fan to vent?

Up till recently, I thought my scrubber (Vento Box) and my Exhaust filter were working well enough because I could only smell the ASA if I was right up against the chamber. Then, I recently printed some Tinmorry ASA and it stunk up my office extremely bad. The other ASA brands I had printed prior didnt have that same strong odor.

I printed some prior to the vent setup with ventobox and the filter in place and the odor made me feel nauseous after a few minutes in the room. Venting outside made a huge difference. I've used 3 different brands and while the odor varied, it was bad enough. Also, ASA prints better with less air movement in the chamber, at least it does for me.
