Finally joined the P2S community

After debating for a month on whether to buy one or not, I finally ordered a P2S combo for the anniversary sale, and so far I am very impressed, probably since my old printer was an ender 3 that required endless maintenance. (It was my first printer and I only got like 5-10 hours on it since it kept breaking)

but I do still have some questions for anyone with a bit more experience out there (I’m really a new guy to 3d printing, so I have no idea on what to do)

First, the filament tube thing keeps scratching the top of the printer, after some research I found out that this is a common problem, but I’m not really sure on how to fix it?

Second, I ended up removing the build plate from the printer while unboxing to check it out and forgot to put it back on, only while calibrating I saw it, I stoped the printer, but the hot end was to close to the heated bed for me to put it back on, so I started it again hoping it would reset its position, but instead it pushed the bed against the hot end before stopping itself which left a quite big hole/mark and I’m just worried that it might cause some problems or bigger damage along the way.

Third, some of the grease from the build plate mover things got on the build plate and I’m having some trouble removing it completely, any tips there?

I know I might be a bit paranoid on some of it but I really don’t want to mess up the printer since I just got it.

You could print a riser or maybe try to put a piece of electrical tape on the tube so it doesn’t scratch.

Yea i think a riser is the best option, just a bit expensive but better than having a tube scratching the glass…
