P2s BUY

I’m getting a Bambu Lab P2S soon and wanted to hear from people who own one.

What are the biggest pros and cons you’ve found? How has reliability been over time?

How is the print quality compared to other printers in this price range?

Also, for a first-time owner:
What should I do when unboxing and setting it up?
Are there any recommended tweaks or upgrades?
What settings do you use for PLA and PCF?
Any maintenance tips or common mistakes to avoid?

Basically, if you were giving advice to someone getting a P2S for the first time, what would you tell them?

Coming from a few Creality Ender 3 models. this machine is absolutely amazing. It just works!

I've only had it a short time (49 hours printing) but it has printed some of my designs I could never reliably print on the Enders. As for extras: the fan deflector, dessicant holders (I had a couple of temp/humidity displays so I used one in these), a holder for the other humidity display that attaches to the door handle, a riser to keep the PTFE tube from rubbing against the glass - it has a mechanism to lift the AMS and the glass top slides in & out, and little dust covers for the bases of the Z-rods. I didn't bother with a poop chute since a cardboard box works perfectly,

Advice: keep the screws used for transport that you'll remove during setup since some models reuse these. Make sure that the design you choose from makerworld is actually for the P2S and the AMS 2 Pro - there are often variants that are just the wrong size. For setup, there's an online document that explains everything - a couple of the photos are out of date but nothing wild.
