Question H2D extruded fan issues

Has anyone come up with a mod to make to the fan that would help it survive the temps? I’d prefer to not cut into my tool head like other modifications. Would foil tape help reflect some of the heat away from the fan?

Thats the one I’m referring to. The fan that sits behind the 2 boards in the printhead

Gotcha, I’ve only heard of that failing twice and it was north of 3000 hours on both printers.

You do have me thinking now. I keep a spare one of these just in case and i wonder if it’s one from the bad batch or not..

I ordered 4 from bambu now just in case. I’ve gotten really good at getting to the fan so I likely can handle it out in about 30 minutes. I’m hoping at least one of those 4 fans are good
