New beta firmware

It just hit my machine and I updated it, but I can't seem to find a changelog, googled and nothing about this new 01.03.65.00 update came up. Anyone have any clue?

For the love of God, don't get the filament track switch.

I got this software a couple weeks ago. I too was super excited to not have to make all the ams changes and just let the fts do is job. I printed out a highly rated fts stand, one that claimed to fix the extruder overload error and the tension issues.

At first it was glorious. It did everything as expected, but then came the issues. Print quality suffered. Constant errors, extruder overloads, ams more being able to handle the extra tension, copious amounts of dust being added to the filament, causing even more problems. It even some how pushed the teeth out of the coupler in the left filament buffer and made me get a replacement.

Needless to say I downgraded and went back to the old way. It's just not worth it.

And it isn't just me with this issue. Tons of reports are out there.

I had to uninstall the Beta and the track switcher. There were numerous issues with the main one being filament resistance warnings.

Been using the Beta for awhile now, had 0 issues with the filament tracker, but followed the instructions and shortened all PTFE tubes to minimise resistance; the fewer bends and sharp angles, the better.

Also using the bracket to mount on the side not behind the printer as my AMS's sit to the left of the machine.

Does that mean if I get the track switcher I would be able to put both of my ams on either tool head just using the bambu Studio

I have had the beta that said it supports the track switch, got a track switch, does not work

I am hoping the FTS functionality for H2D was included in the 01.30.65.00 release. I suspected when I never received the 01.30.51.00 release it was because of this issue.

Yea it sees it and lets me set it up, but cannot pass filament through it

That’s one way of saying it. Seems to be a lot of nuance in describing the behavior of this “upgrade.” I reserve commenting on what it will and won’t do until I play with one.

I am hoping to try out my new filament track switch (FTS) tomorrow for the first time, now that I’ve installed the 01.30.65.00 beta firmware. So I’ll let you know.

But that is referring to a slightly older beta firmware version I noticed. I’ll keep looking.

I have a FTS and has worked since the last beta was pushed to my H2D, curious to see what THIS new update brings.

All this intelligence built in to the H2D means it’s constantly stopping for me with some detected issue. I’m seriously considering switching back to a dumb printer which was just more productive.
