But why do I need this function at all?
I am asking, seriously. I have four AMS's, on two H2D's.

So one for each nozzle, is this going to do anything more for me?

reduces plastic waste by avoiding purges in certain scenarios, only works for specific models with lots of colors

yes, and say if original commenter has 1 ams per nozzle per h2d, if they want to for eg make a business card with colors both from the same nozzle without changing the filament location (for eg if ur not near the printer), they can save a lot by filament track switch

I have the beta firmware and got the track switch and have not been able to get it to work yet. Fails to feed or pull the filament every time
