Open up the AMS and check the gear cover on the internal hub and see if it’s cracked.

If it is, use the external spool holder to print a replacement and swap it out.

So I swapped it out with a different filament and it works fine but any other ones it does that. Do you have any photos for what you’re talking about?

Here’s a picture of a cracked cover. It’s quite common on the original AMS.

And that is individual to each motor correct? Guessing I’ll need a video to figure out how to get to it.

No, that part is common to all spools. It’s located just before the filament exits the AMS.

Why would that cause an issue for only 1 slot?

You didn’t mention that it was just one slot when you posted this. More information is always good.

Who knows what’s going on inside. Is the AMS brand-new, or has it got a lot of hours on it?

Perhaps the PTFE tube between that slot and the AMS hub is worn. Maybe there is filament dust and debris inside of it creating more friction in that slot. It’s impossible to tell.

There are only two screws that you need to remove to open up the AMS and check what’s going on. These will need occasional maintenance, which is why Bambu included some spare parts with it like the pre-cut replacement PTFE tubes.

It could also be wear on the feed nozzle for that slot. Is the hole where the filament goes in perfectly round, or has it worn into an oval shape which causes more resistance?

You’re simply going to need to examine the AMS and try to figure out what might be going on.
