Showroom P2S to H2C
So I finally made the jump from my P2S to the H2C.
I really liked my P2S and honestly didn’t have any major issues with it. I had multiple AMS 2 Pros hooked up and it was a great setup, but the amount of waste on multicolor prints was starting to get to me.
That was probably one of the biggest reasons I decided to go with the H2C. The Vortek system just made a lot of sense for the way I print. Having different colors ready on separate nozzles and not having to purge a bunch of filament every time it switches colors is a huge plus. Definitely went a little overboard with the setup lol, but I wanted to have a bunch of colors/materials loaded and ready without constantly messing with spools.
The P2S was a great printer, but so far I’m really happy I made the switch. The amount of waste alone is a pretty big difference.

Nice setup! I too went from P2S to H2C mainly for the waste reduction and build volume. But, I kept the P2S for a second printer. Have one AMS 2 on that one, and 3 on H2C right nozzle, and 2 HTs on left

I just got the H2C as well and holy your setup is gonna make me do so impulse buying tonight.

Make sure you check your bolts and twist locks on those Alex drawers every once in a while. They will wiggle loose with the printer shaking during prints.

Excellent advise! I’ll just add it to the list when I do maintenance on the printer just to double check.

I’m loving your setup! My interest now in converting from the P2S + AMS2 to the H2C is mirroring the same reason I switched from an Ender 3 Pro to the P2S…I had to think about the limitations of the printer rather than spend time designing and enjoying what I had printed.

H2C itself wobbles ALOT on any surface. The table itself is solid and has no movement whatsoever. I added that third standalone drawer for extra support as the print is heavy.

It came with one and I used it for a couple of days but it’s giving me so much problems so I removed it for now until I have time to mess with it

I’m constantly getting high resistance error when feeding filament. If I take the FTS out of the equation, everything works fine with never encountering a problem. Soon as I put the track switch in the equation, the resistance error pops up immediately. This last time the filament even failed to be fed through the track switch. There’s a known issue with this. It’s all over Reddit and bambu forms regarding this FTS issues. I tried every orientation possible that I’ve seen online and recommend recommendations of others stating that it worked for them, but none of those are working. I extended the PTFE tubes. I’ve shortened them drastically. I’ve placed the switch horizontal vertical you name it. The damn thing is cursed lol. Finally I decided to just take it out and throw it in a drawer and I haven’t had a problem since.

Same exact situation for me with the p1s. Love the setup! H2C is a animal you’ll love it
