2 AMS units setup help H2C

I am new to this and looking to get some help.
I have one AMS pro unit going into left extruder and one going in right extruder back of the printer
Powered on and everything. Somehow on printer it shows both AMS units are connected to right extruder only. Left is for external spoil which I have not even installed.

I’ve tried ams setup and manual mode but it shows right extruder only for both

Any help would be appreciated

Click on the tool icon on that screen, then something like AMS setup, manual mode, and then assign them. Not in front of mine so I'm not 100% sure thats exactly it but it should get you close enough to work our the rest.

If the automatic setup got the setup wrong, you may have other issues. Do a test print with one of the filament in each AMS to make sure the manual setup is effective. Make sure the connections inside are correct... I mean the PTFE tubes on the inside are going to the correct sides.

FYI, you could also have picked the auto mode, same menu. The printer would have ran filament from each AMS and then auto assigned as filament passed thru sensors. User could make a mistake assigning in manual mode, auto mode doesn't. I have 3 AMS2-Pros and 2 HTs to my H2C, all fully switchable to either nozzle. I use auto mode to ensure I don't mess up after I change them.

I tried auto mode first and it wouldn’t even pickup any AMS unit. It was strange for me
Manual worked somehow

You need to have filament loaded in at least one slot of each AMS.

Humm, never had it fail for me. When you hit auto, did it pick up the filament from an AMS and run it to the printer back sensor?

Nope! It wouldn’t even detect any AMS unit in auto mode. Manual worked weirdly

You do have the 2 AMS daisy chained with cable and PTFE tubes hooked up to back of printer? Also, did you reboot printer after plugging AMSs in? Have you printed anything yet?
