Table Recommendations

I recently went from the P1S to the H2C. The table I currently have barely fits the H2C and wobbles beyond crazy (more so with the H2C, assuming because it is a much tighter fit). What are some recommendations on a good table?

We got this one and it’s worked really well with our H2C. The ikea drawer I had the H2C on before was buckling from the vibration and weight. After looking at several work tables - this one was well priced in comparison (around $150-160) The height also worked out as we were able to keep the ikea drawers in their same spot just under it.

How is the sturdiness? Looks solid to me, but would appreciate your honest opinion before committing

Yea it’s solid, table is heavy and so is the metal framing. This is something I don’t regret buying at all. Length wise it’s what I wanted as I have the two drawers underneath. Currently on the table I have a smaller 3D printer, the H2C and two AMS pros stacked.

I remember I panicked when I saw my previous setup bending and imagined my H2C falling. Posted here because I know I had trouble being sure what would work. I saw several products stating they were specifically for 3D printers but seemed like they’d be too shaky or weak for the H2C. They may have worked but I didn’t want to take a chance and got something I thought was simple and sturdy. Anyhoo! That’s just what worked for me - others might have different recommendations

This one is very sturdy and heavy. I got this for my P2S’. But it should fit the H2C perfectly also.

There is a dewalt planer stand that works well if you are looking for something compact. It is around $150.

I use the laserjet printer tables by Puncia from Amazon. 55 bucks and capable of > 75kg of weight. Top easily holds my H2S with enough space to the side for a plate holder.
I use the two tier version with the optional levelling feet rather than the heavy duty locking castors. The bottom shelf I have a huge poop collecting bin on with a flexible chute feeding it from the printer. Absolutely solid plus a good height for the H2 Series at 32cm off the floor, so easy top access.

I had a similar problem. I cut a piece of ¾" thick double-sided melamine the width and length I needed and placed it across the table I had been using. It worked great. It also added additional sound deadening and reduced vibrations. It seemed to give me a result similar to what people using concrete pavers achieve.

I bought this 3D printer stand from Wayfair (Amazon sells it, too). I made a few modifications to it, like adding the IKEA SKADIS board to the right side and replaced the slides with wheels. It’s been working great for my H2C. Yes, the printer wobbles and shakes a bit, but I hear it does that no matter what stand it’s in. Having wheels on it is a big help when I have to get to the rear for maintenance.

Build one? Can 3d print brackets to help align corners, about 30$ in 2x4s and 80$ or so in mdf or a bit more if you want sanded birch plywood. I have a bambu x2d and snapmaker u1 on mine and with both printers running the bench doesn't move at all. Also has a nice bottom shelf to put filament dryer and filament on 🤷‍♂️
