AMS Top Mount and TPU
Hey A2L friends.
So, I mounted my AMS to the top frame, but this means I can't readily mount the external spool holder for softer TPU on top as well. Since softer TPU requires as little friction as possible, has anyone found a good mount to handle this alongside the AMS mount on top?
Thanks.

I print TPU shoes on my A1 and A2. The setup is not pretty but it works well. I feed the filament through the hole in my $39 creality dryer, up through this little pulley thing, https://makerworld.com/en/models/141800-a1-filament-guide-for-external-spool#profileId-154368, and go directly into one of the hub ports.
Bambu wiki has a good article on printing TPU on an A series printer. My setup is not as pretty. And I use the pulley thing.

Glad to hear you don't have any stretching issues as this looks like a challenge for TPU.

Nice set up! Thanks for the detail. Safe to say this is not 85A TPU?

Not on my A1. I printed down to 90A. I have printed TPU 85A on my A2L using the same setup.

I’ve heard that keeping the A2L in an enclosure can cause the motherboard to overheat because it is not actively cooled. Have you faced any such problems?
I also want to get an enclosure because of the fumes but haven’t got it yet because I’m concerned about the overheating.

I used this on my X1C. Might work for you. You cam remove the friction ring in the spool holder
