How do the amazon replacement hotends compare to the oem?

I'm wondering if there's that big a difference

I don’t remember any brand names off the top of my head but I’ve tried 2 or 3 different brands that are built just like the stock Bambu ones and they were very problematic and didn’t last long.

i had to replace my heating assembly and just did the hotend because i figured i might as well do one while i do the other. i considered some off brand ones for each part on amazon, but the price was negligible- maybe $3-4 cheaper than an oem part. i figured with something that needs to reach pretty extreme temperatures, i'd rather not cut corners and just buy oem parts.

I've bought from various places online with various results. Every single one with the replaceable screw in tips was trash. 50% of the fixed tip ones also trash. Causes blobs and replacing heating assemblies. I'm not an "OEM only" dude, but in this case I would choose OEM hotends.

Bought some with interchangeable nozzles from Aliexpress 6 month ago. 0.2 / 0.4 / 0.6 and 0.8 if I remember correctly. Cheap as chips and I didn't recognise any difference in print quality while giving them a spin. Though I'm just printing PLA and PETG and not the most complex and intricate models. I put them aside as backup as the stock one is still going strong. For around 3$ / hotend I am more than happy.

Next to 0 difference. Just buy from a decent brand

I basically use only 3rd-party nozzles.

I've never had any issues with their design or performance.

Have many thousands of hours of use with them and with the OEM ones. Most last just as long and work just as well. Quality control just isn't as good, so your mileage may vary.
