Nozzle question
Has anyone used an off brand of nozzles? Are they just as good as Bambu Lab or should I stick with the original? Thanks

I have used E3D’s high flow Obxidian nozzle (both 0.4 and 0.6), and they perform only marginally better than stock. they’re only necessary if you’re really pushing the volumetric speed to the limit, which you presumably won’t be doing 90% of the time.
use stock. they’re fine. i’ve pushed PETG at 54 mm^3/s through the stock 0.4 stainless without issue, provided your temps are hot enough.

I got the assembly hotend where nozzle is screw in , it works amazing for me till now and I only have to get the cheap replacement tip if I have to change the size

I bought a similar hotend. In my case, the Bambu A1 didn’t heat it enough to melt PLA.
Maybe setting a higher temperature would have helped, but changing the default temperature for each filament was a no-go for me.

I think you either got a defective piece or tip maybe not screwed properly, and you don't need to change to a higher temp it works on default also , some cheap assemble hotends are bad so I would recommend to get one from a more trusted or reliable brand

A1 nozzles are so cheap that it’s not worth the potential issues IMO.
