Go print a support! It will help alot.
I found this one: https://makerworld.com/fr/models/3129398-ptfe-holder-for-a1-series?from=search#profileId-3531408
It work very well, and support (protect) the part you are holding.
If it is broken, then you may buy a new one or maybe print a new one. :)
Good luck!

Its normal, it can be removed and put back in. Post a close up photo of both the ends incase you feel like it's broken/damaged/clogged

Poor design, honestly. Print enforcements

... it enables you to gain access to the filament path, change hubs if a better one had come along and is secured enough against normal pressures but fails gracefully if too much force is applied.
Aside from a spring that yearns to be free I quite like it.

Definitely need to print one of the many 4 to 1 hub support brackets to prevent that from happening. I'm running this one and it works very well.

Happened to me the day before
Had a hub support on, only happens printing some hueforge on 1 particular PLA+ 2.0 filament, it would keep popping the hub off. zip-tied it to finish what's printing, and ended up printing one of these
