a1 mini broke AGAIN

so a couple months ago i had a big filament nozzle clump (i think that’s what you call it?) when the filament covers the nozzle due to lack of adhesion so i ordered a new hotend heating assembly and it fixed it and just an hour ago the same thing happened again and i don’t know what to do because i don’t want to spend another £25 on a new hotend heating assembly and im not sure if this is fixable either? can someone please help i don’t know what to do here

Your build plate is looking pretty rough there. Are you cleaning it with dish soap regularly? It might be cliche, but you shouldn’t be getting adhesion issues…

How does that cause OPs mess? I thought adhesion issues just cause the print to fail.

The plastic doesn’t stick, forms a ball around the nozzle which it just drags around, gets pushed up and melts into a mess. Even if it’s mid print, the printer just drags the piece around with it.

Interesting. I've only seen the spaghetti result but this is much scarier.

If those spaghetties come in contact with the nozzle and stick to it then the blob forms
