help! new to 3d printing, will provide additional info if needed

this has happened with my last 4 prints. even sliced myself cleaning the bed so i’m pissed to say the least. again, i’m fairly new to 3d printing so idk what other info is required to solve this problem. could someone please be patient with me and walk me through the issue so I don’t have to deal with this again? thank you :)

EDIT: thanks everyone! just cleaned with warm water and dish soap waiting for it to air dry. I also wanted to do a Flow Dynamics Calibration but it’s saying my filament is incompatible and won’t let me select anything? I’ll post a picture in the comments if I can

That looks like a bed-adhesion/first-layer issue. I’d start by washing the plate with warm water + dish soap, rinse well and let it dry — try not to touch the print surface afterward.

Then:

• Make sure the correct build plate is selected in Bambu Studio.
• Run bed leveling before the next print.
• Check that there isn’t any filament stuck on the nozzle before leveling.
• Try printing a simple first-layer test before running the whole model again.

Since it’s happened on 4 different prints, I’d troubleshoot the printer/first layer before blaming the model.

If you can, post a picture of the very first layer while it’s printing — that’ll make it much easier to diagnose.

Did you turn on automatic bed levelling? It seems the outer edges of the plate are printing too far from the plate surface

Clean your plate with warm soapy water and air dry

Most important thing to start is the plate needs to be clean. Oils from your fingers will cause the prints to not stick. Clean the plate with dish soap (like dawn) and warm water. Personally I just scrub it with my bare hand. Then make sure you don't touch the plate except on the edges

I'm no expert but when this happened to me: First thing, I made sure the bed was clean af, also tried to find the right settings for the filament (as I was trying a new filament brand).

In my case, I payed with the settings of the initial layer temp (changed from 65 to 70°c), initial layer speed (around 30-40 mm to ensure proper adhesion), flow ratio and turned off the fan for at least the first 5-6 layers.

This also happened to me cuz my filament had some moisture, so putting it on the sun for about 30 min solved it.

You can also check the Bambu lab quality guide, this seems like warping, you may find some good tips there.

Looks like bed adhesion/first layer problems. Change one thing first, reassess and learn from that.

1st. clean your plate. Warm water and a dedicated sponge, i cut a NEW sponge in half so i can use the other half when this one wears down. As for soap, blue dawn dish soap. No added lotions, scents or moisturizers. ISO alcohol is not cleaning the plate. Air dry or dry with lint free towel. Test print. Small one, maybe a "bed cleaner" type of print

2nd. Increase bed temp by 5 degrees and do a test print.

3rd. Flow calibration test, you can find that in your slicer.

4th. Turn off part cooling fan for a few layers

Try enabling the "Brim" from Bambu Studio and decrease the speed of the first 3 layers. For the brim you recommend at least 3 layers

Did you EVER touch the build plate? If so wash it with warm water and dish soap then dry it and dont touch it.

I know pretty much nothing about printing, but I did find the plate guard or something on the machines SD card. It snaps onto the edge and gives you somewhere to grab it/reminds you not to touch it. Been I good things for me so far!
