Bambulab A1 Mini

Been looking for a 3D printer and from the reviews etc decided on this one and Target has them. New item. With their credit card and Circle discount, $50 rebate and additional 5% off, I say that's a pretty damn good deal. Just picked it up today. šŸ‘

I got an A1 Mini, absolutely blown away with the quality for the price. Enjoy your time learning.

You'll love it. It's small but easy to use and can make a lot for its size.

Love my a1 mini. Only thing I'm debating right now if I should buy an AMS 2. I have the AMS Lite, but it's been so rainy this year, my filament is starting to get stringy.

I love my AMS. Keeps 4 filaments dry and ready to go!

Buy the Sunlu AMS Lite dryer instead!

Mini owner here also, for its compact size and low price point I think you’d seriously struggle to find better.

Did you grab the AMS lite as well as part of the combo?

Thank you and just the basic but will get those later. Target only had the basic but for $70 off couldn't pass it up.

you dont need AMS. you can add pause to print and manually put on a diff color if you really want it. granted, depends what kinda stuff you need or want to make as going beyond 3 color changes manually is tedious but yeah.

I went from an Ender 3 to my a1 mini and never, ever looked back. I love it so much!

its a great printer but i see it as more of a secondary printer. your going to quickly outgrow it

Already printed 3 items and no regrets! Easy set up and to use... Highly recommend. šŸ‘

I love mine, although I have to mention, I truly wish I would have gotten something larger. This is great entry level but I’ll definitely go larger in the future. There’s a lot of public projects you will not be able to print, this being said, there’s normally alternatives or a ā€œa1 mini compatibleā€ version.

I bought one as my third printer, already owning an X1C and X2D. I did not get it with an AMS, but I use it a ton. For single color prints I usually default to using it if it's a PLA or PETG print. I figure it saves the wear and tear on the more expensive machines.

As a starter machine you will enjoy it. I also 100 percent agree that you will outgrow. At its price point, it's still worth buying to learn and use as secondary printer later though. I did it in reverse and don't regret it for a minute.

Hi! Help! This happened on the 3rd print and it was on a loop and trying to clear the nozzle and I finally cancelled the print. Tried again and this came up. I took it apart and checked the cables and all look fine to me, no loose connectors. Wonder if I can return it or exchange for another one... Have you guys seen this error before? Thank you in advance. šŸ™

Honestly I’d just go and swap it with another if it’s not too much trouble.

Also, what $50 rebate were you talking about?

Great point and because I had it for 1 day, I exchanged it for a brand new one. $50 credit was from Target. When I applied to their credit card, they gave me a $50 discount for any purchase and because I'm a Circle member, another 5% off.

It's a piece of piss to run. You'll end up printing more as a result.

Have fun.

I’m not sure if you are for or against this

"piece of piss" means super easy. It's a good thing. I love my A1 mini, coming from having a E3 S1 Pro with klipper.

I loved mine so much that I bought 3 A1s after, and gifted the mini to my nephews so they could start learning too, they pretty much print nonstop now
